The American Supply Association has launched the industry’s first Product Data Standard (PDS), aiming to eliminate errors and inefficiencies in how product information is shared across the plumbing and PVF supply chain. Developed with input from over 30 major companies, the standard sets a consistent framework for attributes like dimensions, finishes and UPCs — slashing time spent on data rework and improving digital integration.

As eCommerce and ERP systems grow in complexity, the PDS offers manufacturers and distributors a shared digital language to accelerate onboarding, streamline operations and cut costs.See how the standard will transform product data workflows here.
