Cost and awareness gaps slow digital adoption for Irish small businesses

A new Lean BPI survey shows that one in three Irish small businesses haven’t accessed government digital supports, with cost and legacy systems cited as major barriers. Despite these challenges, 75% plan to invest in digital transformation over the next year, and most already have a clear digital strategy. The findings highlight an urgent need for greater awareness of available grants and supports, particularly as SMEs risk falling behind in an increasingly competitive landscape.
